Ferrah

1:00 p.m. EDT New York City, NYC

“Ferrah was a true standout this season. The texture and craftsmanship behind each piece felt deeply intentional. Hearing from the designer firsthand about her elemental inspirations, this particular collection drawing from wind, brought the narrative to life. One look, in particular, captured attention with its drop waist and textured skirt: voluminous, yet refined, avoiding the expected ballroom silhouette. I also love how it was separate pieces and had a corset back, a real work of art.”

Leah Da Gloria

2:00 p.m. EDT New York City, NYC

“I loved this entire look, but the veil was the true intentional showstopper. Iโ€™ve never seen a veil designed with a โ€˜second lookโ€™ or โ€˜after-partyโ€™ moment in mind. We saw plenty of second-look dresses, but no accessories to match until this. The veil perfectly complemented the dress with its details of what appeared to be delicate pearls or beads suspended from the hem. The effect was effortlessly chic, the kind of statement piece for a cool bride making her grand entrance onto the dance floor. When the model first stepped out, the movement of the veil and dress together was amazing, kinetic and rhythmic, almost like watching a Newtonโ€™s Cradle in motion.โ€

Elly Sofocli

“I absolutely loved this look, it speaks for itself. Elegant, refined, and effortlessly clean. The versatility of being worn two ways adds to its appeal, and the fact that itโ€™s a single, cohesive piece makes it all the more impressive. Simple yet striking.โ€

Mariana Hardwick

3:00 p.m. EDT New York City, NYC

“I just had to include Mariana! Her work embodies what a modern bride seeks, that timelessness with a sense of elevation. This particular look composed of three pieces, perfectly balances versatility and romance. The lace skirt adds a delicate femininity, while the additional train introduces the drama and fullness of a grander silhouette. The corseted bodice is divine, beautifully structured and effortlessly repurposed beyond the wedding day.โ€

Margot

10:30 a.m. EDT New York City, NYC

โ€œEven though this look has been shared widely, its fluidity was on another level. I absolutely loved how it was paired with a face-framing lace cathedral veil, which added an ethereal balance to the simplicity of the dress. The base silhouette is relatively minimal, but the way the light fabric is draped, especially around the waistline is nothing short of masterful.โ€

KYHA

6:00 p.m. EDT New York City, NYC

“3 of my favourite pieces hanging perfectly from the KYHA Bride cocktail night. Pieces I would love to see time and time again, and for the brides who are fashion-facing, ostrich feathers can be the way to go. Nicole + Felicia also introduced ostrich feather in capes and mermaid style silhouettes across their NYBFW runway collection.”

Floure

“Still debating on what I loved more, a gown with a corseted bodice and full skirt or the pearl dusted headpiece. As someone who has gravitated towards headwear playing a significant part of your bridal look, this look is equal parts timeless and fashion focused.”

Leah Da Gloria

“Happy to see this pearl tear dropped gown heading towards me on that sunny Wednesday afternoon. The perfect amount of pearls and cadence for this silhouette. It’s fun and far from classic.โ€

Berta

6:30 p.m. EDT New York City, NYC

“Another nod from me when it comes to including headwear in your bridal look. Berta’s backless dress was balanced out with a sequin hood, featuring the perfect amount of draping across the lower back on a timeless silhouette. I’m still thinking about this one.”

Jane Hill

1:00 p.m. EDT New York City, NYC

“No trend-chasing here and a clear favourite of mine from Jane Hill’s NYBFW showcase, the look is polished and unmistakably effortless. The youthful addition of the model’s hair styled into a plait was refreshing to see.โ€
