Waterlines in Vietnam: KYHA’s Fall 26 Collection Unveiled

KYHA BRIDE ‘Waterlines Collection’

A Journey Written in Tides

Vietnam is a country of water and memory. At Amanoi, overlooking the still surface of Lotus Lake, KYHA Studios revealed Waterlines, a collection that traced the ebb and flow of tides, the textures of the land, and the stories carved into silk and lace. Against the backdrop of mountains and mirrored waters, the Fall 26 runway became more than a presentation; it was a meditation on movement, craft, and modern bridal identity.

THE RUNWAY

Models emerged barefoot on timber pathways, their silhouettes luminous against the dusk light.

Sculptural satin gowns echoed the rock formations of Ninh Binh.

A chartreuse silk cape swept the runway, an unexpected jolt of neon against ivory lace, proof of KYHA’s instinct to fuse risk with refinement.

Sheer lace columns and corseted mini-trains recalled Vietnam’s lotus petals, fragile yet strong.

Oversized tassel earrings, diaphanous overlays, and fluid skirts reinforced the collection’s duality: rooted in tradition, yet unafraid of modern drama.

It was bridal couture, refracted through the lens of nature.

THE CAMPAIGN

Captured across Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, and Hoi An, the Waterlines campaign seamlessly weaves Vietnamese landscapes into the DNA of the collection. Photographer Emily Abay’s lens caught gowns suspended in mist, silk against carved limestone, beading that seemed to ripple like water. Each frame blurred fashion with terrain, as craftsmanship met the craft of place.

Kyha Scott described the vision: “In Vietnam, water feels like more than an element; it is an endless thread shaping daily life and inspiring stories and traditions, and this collection.”

THE WEEK IN VIETNAM

Beyond the runway, the week unfolded as an immersive journey into culture and connection.

•Guests sailed on a catamaran beneath cobalt skies, cocktails in hand, the horizon mirroring the ease of the gowns themselves.

•A candlelit dinner stretched into the night, where campaign footage played against a backdrop of flickering light and clinking glasses.

•A Vietnamese cooking class, wellness rituals at Amanoi’s spa, and communal workouts each morning grounded the experience in both luxury and locality.

It was not simply a fashion trip. It was a residency in slowness, reminding us of the intimacy that sits beneath bridal craft.

THE TRENDS TO WATCH

From Waterlines, three currents for 2026 emerge:

The Return of Opulence:
Embellishment is no longer pared back, beading and sheen are back in conversation with minimal forms.

Ceremonial Volume:
Hoop-inspired skirts and exaggerated overlays make grandeur modern again.

Colour Interruptions:
Ivory and lace hold firm, but punctuated by flashes of bold colour, a signpost for brides craving individuality.

CLOSING NOTE

As the models disappeared into the trees and the lake returned to stillness, the collection’s name felt prophetic. Waterlines is not just KYHA’s latest offering; it is a mark of where bridal fashion is heading: fluid, bold, and unafraid to carry traces of the natural world onto the aisle.
