Initially considering an open garden ceremony, Natalie wisely opted for a marquee set up to ensure the unpredictable weather would not dampen their joy. The couple wanted something non-traditional and festive, leaving the creative reins to The Style Co to orchestrate the celebration.

To bring their dreams into reality, Natalie and Sam chose the Gardens House, nestled within the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne. The venue offered the perfect blend of natural beauty and convenience, allowing them to host the ceremony and reception in one location. Surrounded by lush greenery, the city’s hustle felt worlds away, making their special day even more magical.
Natalie’s vision for her wedding dress was to embrace modern minimalism with timeless elegance. She turned to Kyha from Kyha Studios, a renowned designer. Armed with ideas from Instagram and Pinterest, Natalie collaborated with Kyha Studios to create a custom dress that embodied her essence. Having worn red carpet dresses before, Natalie’s experience guided her in selecting the perfect design, which she fell in love with and knew would stand the test of time.
“We decided to have a sneak peek of the marquee and take it in before our guests were seated for the reception. It was breathtaking to see the styling come together.”
Fate smiled upon Natalie and Sam on their wedding day, giving them a rain-free January celebration. The weather played its part beautifully, beneath clear skies and amid the breathtaking beauty of the Royal Botanic Gardens.
