A Love Story Born on Instagram
With
Rotem & Mor
When it comes to modern romance, sometimes it takes just one bold move to change everything. For Rotem, it all started with an Instagram crush on Mor. Taking matters into her own hands, she initiated a casual meeting, and just a day later, she sent him a follow-up message. Within a week, the two were on their first date, and from then on, they were inseparable.

Mor’s proposal to Rotem was a masterclass in thoughtful timing. At midnight on Rotem’s 30th birthday, surrounded by family at her parents’ house, Mor got down on one knee. The following day, what was meant to be a birthday dinner turned into a surprise engagement party, marking the start of their wedding journey.
The Vision: A Magnificent Ball with a Modern Twist
While neither Rotem nor Mor initially dreamed of a large wedding, the celebration at Beit HaSmachot was spectacular. With a sizable guest list and a desire for a central location, Beit HaSmachot offered the perfect blend of exceptional cuisine, a unique atmosphere, and a dedicated events team.
Working alongside Planner Danielle Zini and Stylist Omer Gilony, the couple envisioned an evening reminiscent of a magnificent, hedonistic ball. They masterfully blended Renaissance and royal aesthetics with light urban vibes, resulting in a grand and intimate event.

Fashion Moments: Bridal Couture & Groom’s Classic Style
A fashion photographer, Rotem curated her bridal looks with precision and artistry. She collaborated with designers Liron Partouche and Mishimono to create two custom dresses, each with a unique story:
The Ceremony Dress: The first dress by Liron Partouche embodied timeless elegance. Crafted with a deep corset, voluminous hand-dyed silk, and a handmade lace and chiffon veil, the gown struck the perfect balance of drama and sophistication.
The Reception Dress: Rotem’s second look, a creation by Mishimono, featured vintage French lace. Inspired by Jane Birkin, this dress exuded classic, elegant, and subtly sexy vibes—ideal for dancing the night away.
Rotem completed her bridal look with Tony Bianco shoes and a vintage Dior garter, which close friends gifted. Her hair and makeup, styled by Tal Amit and Ziv Amsalem, added a touch of effortless glamour. Meanwhile, Mor’s tailored suit by Dare showcased his sharp fashion sense. His ensemble—a wide suit with a black silk shirt and sleek black boots—embodied relaxed sophistication.

Design & Decor: A Ballroom Transformed
The event’s decor was a visual feast. Omer Gilony’s vision brought the ballroom to life with rich, wintry hues, lush florals, and candlelit ambience. Two long, knightly tables created an intimate yet grand setting, perfectly aligned with the couple’s vision of a modern Renaissance ball. The aesthetic extended to every detail, from the flowers to the custom graphic design by Qapara, weaving together an atmosphere of romance and elegance.

Honouring Heritage: Jewish Rituals with a Modern Touch. The couple infused their wedding with meaningful Jewish traditions. They hosted a Moroccan Henna ceremony, a vibrant event where henna was applied to their palms as a blessing for happiness and a good marriage.
Rotem also participated in a mikvah ritual, symbolising purity and spiritual renewal before the wedding. These traditions added a heartfelt layer to their celebration, culminating in a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony that anchored their modern event with timeless customs.
A Mediterranean Feast: Culinary Delights at Beit HaSmachot: The seasonal and Mediterranean-inspired menu was nothing short of extraordinary. Guests indulged in light, fresh dishes like: Raw Fish with charred cucumber, leek, roasted rice, and fermented chili. Beef Tartare with Jerusalem bagel, eggplant, and pine nuts. Chicken Shawarma with lahoh (Yemeni pita), tahini, and amba.
The couple’s friend and talented pastry chef, Michal Goldberger, crafted their wedding cake. The show-stopping creation was a long, elegant orange cake with whipped cream and strawberries, adding a sweet finale to the evening.

Music & Magic: A Night to Remember
Music played a vital role in setting the tone for the day. The couple walked down the aisle to “Sea of Love” and closed the ceremony with “Be My Baby.” The music, combined with the DJ stylings of Roy Shpilman, created an electric atmosphere, from the emotional ceremony to the lively dance floor. For Mor, the most memorable moment was the ceremony itself, while Rotem cherished dancing together, surrounded by loved ones, feeling completely in love.
Planning Insights: Advice from Rotem & Mor
The couple shared invaluable advice for future brides and grooms:
Invest in a Planner: “Danielle Zini was like a guardian angel, handling every detail as if it were her own wedding,” Rotem shares.
Stay Adaptable: “Life is unpredictable. When challenges arose, we took a deep breath, adapted quickly, and moved forward as a team.”
Embrace the Journey:“The planning process is as much a part of the experience as the wedding day. We made a conscious effort to enjoy every moment.”

Reflecting on their wedding, Rotem and Mor feel a profound gratitude—not just for the beautiful event but for the journey and the loved ones who surrounded them.“Our wedding was a celebration of our story, love, and the community that helped us along the way. It was everything we dreamed of and more,” they reflect.
