The most incredible Vera Wang Haute Octavia gown - my dream ballgown made of silk ivory tulle. The pleating on the bodice is like nothing I'd seen on any other wedding dress and the layers of tulle make the ballgown skirt full and stunning. This dress was perfect for my outdoor garden ceremony and was worn for the ceremony + portraits before I changed into my reception dress. This dress was originally a US8 however I lost considerable amounts of weight in the lead up to the wedding and it has been altered by Vera Wang's recommended Australian tailors to my measurements above. It would now best fit a size AU6-8 and can be taken in further if required. Other alterations include hemming, a bustle, and front snaps on the front panels so that they can be easily put up for walking and let down for photos. There is one small tear in a layer of the tulle at the bottom that occurred as I was walking after the ceremony. This can easily be hemmed for anybody my height or shorter - I am 163cm tall and wore 10cm heels. I'm now ready to pass this beautiful gown on to another bride who will create her own unforgettable memories. It has been professionally dry cleaned and is ready for its next chapter. I also purchased additional tulle panels for the skirt which I can include. This is an amazing opportunity to purchase a Vera Wang Haute gown for 50% of its RRP.
