Inside Pia Mance’s Romantic Los Angeles Vow Renewal

A Love Letter to Then and Now

At Chateau Marmont, afternoon light poured through palms and across white satin. Pia Mance, the model turned entrepreneur and founder of cult jewellery label Heaven Mayhem, stood hand in hand with her husband Cody, five years after their secret London wedding. In an intimate vow renewal celebrating love, evolution, and homecoming, the couple honoured their story in true Los Angeles style: private, fashion-forward, and effortlessly romantic.

The Couple & The Setting

In 2020, Pia and Cody exchanged vows in a civil ceremony in London, alone, spontaneous, and full of quiet joy. “It was just us two and so special,” Pia recalls. “We got ready together, ate hash browns, and celebrated with cake and champagne. At that time, we were living overseas during lockdowns, and that day really symbolised that we were, and still are, each other’s everything.”

Five years later, life in Los Angeles inspired a new chapter. “We had so much fun the first time, I thought, let’s do it again with an ode to our new city,” Pia says. “And selfishly, I wanted gorgeous wedding photos I could show our kids one day.”

The couple chose to split the day between two cinematic backdrops: Chateau Marmont, the legendary Hollywood retreat synonymous with romance and rebellion, and a private Beverly Hills estate. True to their love of intimacy, it was just the two of them, no audience, no spectacle, only a renewed sense of devotion.

Fashion & Beauty

Known for her effortless glamour and creative instinct, Pia approached her vow renewal as both muse and creative director. “My first wedding was simple, I bought a dress off the rack at Alexander Wang,” she laughs. “This time, I wanted to have fun and lean into the idea of multiple bridal looks, which feels so modern now.”

Working closely with stylist Georgina Downe, Pia curated five distinct ensembles that together formed a fashion narrative of past, present, and play:

An Albus Lumen satin gown paired with custom Jude white satin heels and unreleased Heaven Mayhem fine jewellery (launching January 2026)

Magda Butrym look, feminine yet sculptural, complemented by unreleased Heaven Mayhem fine pieces

Kyha Studios gown with Jimmy Choo heels and C. Heinrich diamonds

Balenciaga Museum Re-Edition 1960s vintage dress with YSL shoes

Vintage Cavalli, finished with Heaven Mayhem’s Odette Pearl earrings

Each look was styled as an expression of Pia’s signature aesthetic, timeless yet unapologetically individual. “Heaven Mayhem is an extension of me,” she explains. “Our pieces are made to be the finishing touch, like a second skin. They added a sense of ease and identity to each look.”

Her beauty direction, crafted by Terezka, echoed that same refined nonchalance. “I wanted to feel like myself, natural, not overdone,” Pia says. “This time I did both hair up and down, so I’d have zero regret. I just wanted to look back and see me.” Her chosen fragrance, Dries Van Noten’s Rose Carnivora, infused the day with quiet sensuality and modern femininity.

The Ceremony

Set against a palette of ivory, blush, and soft green, Gentle Offerings created floral compositions that felt romantic yet unstudied, clusters of roses, orchids, and local blooms arranged as if gathered from an LA garden at golden hour.

In a sun-drenched courtyard at Chateau Marmont, Pia and Cody exchanged vows once again. “We love an intimate moment. Just us two,” Pia shares. “This time, there were no nerves, no pressure, just laughter, champagne, and a sense of gratitude.”

The Reception

Following the ceremony, the pair celebrated at their Beverly Hills estate, surrounded by candlelight and the scent of roses. They toasted with champagne and cut into a minimalist cake by Basia Bieniek, a modern nod to the one they shared five years earlier in London.

“There was no big plan, just fun and spontaneity,” Pia reflects. “It was about creating memories together without the noise or expectations.”

The styling leaned toward minimal luxe: muted tones, sculptural glassware, and the soft gleam of gold cutlery, a visual reflection of Pia’s brand DNA. “Our colour palette was definitely not traditional,” she adds. “It felt more editorial, less classic bridal.”

Personal Touches & Standout Details

Cody wore a Tom Ford suit with Naked Wolfe footwear, bringing a sharp, tailored balance to Pia’s fluid silhouettes. Together, their looks captured the duality of their journey, elegant yet grounded, refined yet real.

Each detail felt intentional, from the unreleased Heaven Mayhem fine jewellery collection previewed for the first time that day, to Pia’s decision to carry no bouquet, letting the clean lines of her gowns speak for themselves.

“This renewal reflects how we’ve grown together,” she says. “It’s less about beginnings now, and more about continuing to choose each other every day.”

Closing Reflection

For Pia and Cody, this celebration wasn’t about rewriting their story, it was about reaffirming it. “Both our wedding day and vow renewal have been easy, fun, and relaxed,” Pia says. “These moments don’t need to be filled with pressure or perfection. They’re simply about the two of you, and that’s what makes them special.”
