Bells at Killcare takes the best of country, coastal and city chic to make a boutique bouillabaisse which is part hotel, part chef’s-hatted-restaurant, part private retreat. New Italian heartiness is dished out in the kitchen, while classic Australia awaits on the surf beaches and walking trails of the surrounding Bouddi National Park, just 90 minutes north of Sydney.
The established and ever beautiful grounds provide the perfect backdrop for a delightful garden ceremony and The Conservatory is a haven, decorated in signature Bells’ style, with an adaptability making it the perfect location for wedding celebrations. This space can hold approximately 120 people for a sit down event or up to 220 people for a cocktail style event. This grand space is bathed with natural light, which flows through the large, white sash timber windows, and boasts views of the delightful Bells’ gardens and swimming pool. It has a deck that opens out onto the main lawn area and, at the east end, concertina bi-fold doors open out to your own private outdoor garden courtyard.
Their professional team of event planners ensure everything runs smoothly from the first meeting, through to the ceremony, then the food and wine service at the reception.
The menu on offer at The Conservatory takes its lead from the adjoining restaurant. Cuisine retains its core tenets of simplicity and sustainability with all menus tailored to suit particular events.
Lunchtime weddings are especially popular, with the sunshine bathing the lawns and gardens in a golden glow.
Bells at Killcare offer 25 private cottages for family and friends to share. Each cottage and suite has been beautifully decorated in classic Hampton’s blue and white style with whitewash shutters, Ralph Lauren furnishings and spacious bathrooms.
The retreat boasts over 30 awards and accolades since opening ten years ago in 2007.
