A balance of heritage and innovation defines the BBFW 2025 catwalk. Renowned designers return to the stage while bold new voices shape the future of bridal couture.
Vivienne Westwood’s Bridal Night Debut
The most anticipated moment of the week? Vivienne Westwood’s first-ever dedicated bridal show. The British fashion house will unveil 30 exclusive wedding gowns for 2026 at the University of Barcelona’s historic cloister during the prestigious Barcelona Bridal Night on April 24.
“This show will celebrate femininity and individuality,” says Brigitte Stepputtis, Vivienne Westwood’s Couture and Bridal Director. “In Vivienne’s own words: ‘My clothes allow you to project your personality, allowing you to express yourself.’”
The setting—a 19th-century Catalan architecture landmark—adds to this momentous occasion’s poetic grandeur.

Sustainability Takes Center Stage
Sustainability is no longer an afterthought in bridal fashion—it’s a driving force.
