Andrew Kwon’s Aquarelle Collection at New York Bridal Fashion Week

Andrew Kwon
Presented high above Manhattan at Nubeluz by José Andrés inside The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad, Andrew Kwon’s tenth bridal collection, Aquarelle, unfolded like a watercolour. Inspired by Paul Émile Chabas’s La baie des Dizes, the collection channels the quiet beauty of dawn by a lake moments from Kwon’s childhood, reimagined through modern couture.
Sheer chiffons and liquid organzas shimmered under the light, evoking the ethereal presence of water nymphs cloaked in northern glow. Silhouettes floated with weightless ease, sculpted to reflect a strength wrapped in softness. Every gown felt instinctively feminine, deeply personal, and imbued with a sense of dreaming just below the surface.
With floor-to-ceiling florals and panoramic city views, the presentation itself reflected the collection’s essence: romantic, refined, and quietly powerful.
