The Bridal Journey
Bondi-born and now living in the US, the couple first met by the ocean and built their relationship around meaningful rituals, like morning swims and spontaneous adventures. While holidaying in the south of France, Nick proposed with a surprise treasure hunt, a tennis necklace and an emotional sunset dinner. The bride described it as completely perfect.

With loved ones spread across the globe, they wanted their wedding to feel intimate, relaxed and joyful. From the beginning, they focused on three words to guide their planning: memorable, comfortable and fun.
The Destination
Tonnara di Scopello, a restored 600-year-old tuna fishery on Sicilyโs north-west coast, became the backdrop for their multi-day wedding celebration. Surrounded by rugged cliffs and Mediterranean waters, the location was chosen for its rich history, stunning beauty, and sense of privacy. โIt just felt like a place with soul,โ the bride shared.
The Celebrations
The wedding weekend began with a welcome party at Bar Nettuno in Scopelloโs town square, where guests danced late into the night with locals joining in. The rehearsal dinner was a rustic pizza party at Tonnara, complete with red-checked tablecloths, fresh basil, tomatoes and a gelato cart.
The wedding day itself took place in the Tonnaraโs courtyard, styled with white and green florals by Frascati Fiori, long dining tables, and a live band that kept the energy high all evening. Hydrangeas were used throughout as a tribute to the brideโs late grandmother.

The Fashion
The bride wore the Beau gown by KYHA for the ceremony, chosen for its blend of structured minimalism and romantic tulle. She later changed into a Saint Laurent gown and finished the night in a sheer Shona Joy set customised for the afterparty. Her look was completed with family heirlooms, including pearls from her grandmother, earrings from her mother-in-law and a tennis bracelet from Nick.
Nick wore custom P Johnson Tailors suiting throughout the weekend, including a silk shirt embroidered with โtil death do us partโ for the reception.

The Ceremony & Reception
The coupleโs ceremony was officiated by a close friend and included heartfelt readings from both their mothers. True to tradition, the day began with a swim in the sea.
The reception took place under the stars with long tables running the length of the courtyard. The styling was fresh and elegant, featuring green and white blooms, minimal decor, and a live band, Radiokings, who played between courses. DJ Maurilio and saxophonist Gerardo Vitale brought the dancefloor to life, while the brideโs father surprised everyone with a musical moment during his speech.

Advice for Future Brides
โChoose three words you want your wedding to feel like and come back to them every time youโre overwhelmed. Everything else is just noise.โ
