AN OCEANFRONT WEDDING IN NEW YORK
Tell us.. how did you meet and what was the proposal like?’
Kevin and I met in a club in Manhattan around Thanksgiving. Six years later he proposed at my happy place in the hamptons, where we spend a lot of time on the weekends in the summer. Kevin had asked a waitress to come to our table and tell us what a cute married couple we are, knowing the next words out of my mouth would be “I want to be married”. He then went on to propose but I kind of blacked out because I was overwhelmed with happiness and excitement. Our families came to celebrate with us shortly after. It was the best day of my life.
What advice would you give to other couples leading up to their big day?
Your wedding goes by in the blink of an eye. Be present, enjoy everything and most importantly have fun!
How did you go sticking to a budget?
You’re engaged! Now what? How did you go about planning the big day? Budget? First steps to take…
I pretty much took the reins on planning. Kevin was happy if I was happy.
What was your beauty and fitness prep leading up to the wedding?
I did a bunch of Y7 yoga. Kevin would join occasionally and find me in childs pose for most of the class 🙂 I also got an incredible facial at Joanna Vargas a couple days before the wedding.
