Tell us.. how did you meet and what was the proposal like?’

We met In London at an industry event.. it was very much a ‘why is he staring at me from across the room’ type thing! After he asked for my number we met up the next week and realised were best mates. 3 months later we moved in together and the rest is history!

What advice would you give to other couples leading up to their big day?

To ignore all of the wedding blogs that make out you should be planning years in advance.. dieting like crazy and just generally stressing yourself out. The more pressure you put on the day the less you will enjoy it. At the end of the day the way it looks doesn’t matter only the memories of how you felt & your families faces.

You’re engaged! Now what? How did you go about planning the big day? Budget? First steps to take…

I was engaged for a few years before I started planning as we got engaged quite young. I knew straight away what venue I wanted as I had done a photo shoot there so I dragged my fiancé to see it and he fell in love too! The budget was a difficult one as I had no idea how much weddings cost or anything about weddings for that matter. So we did research and tried to get the perfect day without completely breaking the bank.

What was your beauty and fitness prep leading up to the wedding?

Honestly I did zero fitness prep! I kept telling myself I would but it felt silly. I think being a model I am doing things where I have to be in frocks and dressed up with everyone staring at me and taking my photo all the time so my wedding day wasn’t any different to that in my mind. So preparing for something I do most weeks felt weird! I remember the week before the wedding I went out for dinner and was eating a burger and my friends were like ‘what bride does that!’ It was too late by then anyway ha! I did stick to the same skincare routine using all La Mer products & also didn’t dye my hair for the whole year until a week before the wedding in hope it would grow a little.. and it did!

‘The more pressure you put on the day the less you will enjoy it.’

Ceremony song?

Alicia Keys – if I ain’t got you

Sung by amazing Male British singer Luke Friend

First dance song?

Mr Probz – nothing really matters

My only regret is the first dance and no one really knew the song I wish we did something everyone would dance to. But it’s our song so it felt right.
